Subaru Helps Find Stray "Sky" a Sibling - Jeromy B

Sky came to the Cortland County SPCA as a stray pup and was never reclaimed by her owner. Energetic and playful, we knew this young pup needed a new home outside the shelter's four walls. Luckily for her, a mother-daughter duo was looking for a new dog to complete their family. They had a lab and a yorkie and were on the lookout for the perfect furry sibling for them to play with. They fell in love with Sky's photo at the Subaru Loves Pets event and couldn't wait to meet her! Our doggie meet & greet went amazingly and Sky was finally adopted! We can't thank Royal Subaru enough for hosting this event for us and helping us find Sky her forever family.

The Cortland County Area Agency on Aging Meals on Wheels Program was pleased to have been chosen as a hometown charity by Royal Subaru for the 2019-2020 “Subaru Share the Love” event. We are extremely grateful for the long-standing support of Joe Reagan and Royal Subaru. The agency has received over $30,000 in the past five years thanks to Mr. Reagan and Royal Subaru, Subaru of America, Inc., Meals on Wheels of America and community members who purchased a Subaru vehicle during this event. Share the Love grant funds have been used to provide shelf stable emergency meals to clients unable to independently leave their homes, purchase equipment needed to deliver meals, help with the cost of costly equipment needed for the central kitchen and to enhance and expand the home delivered meal program. The Cortland County Meals on Wheels program serves approximately 210 clients. Clients receive a hot noon meal and wellness check five days a week. Frozen weekend meals and bag suppers are also available. On behalf of the Area Agency on Aging and the clients we serve, THANK YOU Joe Reagan and Royal Subaru!

SPCA of Tompkins County thanks Royal Subaru - Lynne C

Out of the clear blue sky we got an email from Jerome Bushey of Royal Subaru in neighboring Cortland, NY. Royal Subaru wanted to do a donation drive for much-needed supplies to help the SPCA! Wow! What a tremendous gift! And provide adoption kits of collars, leashes and toys for adopters! Double wow! When we receive donations of paper towels, toilet paper, disinfecting wipes, squeeze cheese, pill pockets, laundry detergent, bleach, hand sanitizer, canned kitten and cat food and so on we are over the moon with happiness. What we get donated we don't have to purchase, so that means more money to spend on medical care for our animalsa healthy chunk of our operating budget. The SPCA of Tompkins County houses close to 1,800 animals yearly and through our low-cost spay and neuter clinics which covers 16 counties in the southern tier and central New York, we help an additional 1,900 animals. That is almost 4,000 animals that need care and support through our efforts. We thank Royal Subaru for helping our shelter, and for the customers of Royal Subaru for being so generous to us by purchasing these items on our wish list. On behalf of the cats, dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs, and the occasional cockatoo, we thank you from the bottom of our heart. Your friends at the SPCA of Tompkins County

Cortland County Child Advocacy Center - Kris B

The Cortland County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is a safe, comfortable, child-friendly setting that allows Law Enforcement and Child Protective Services to come together to talk to child victims and their non-offending family members. Approximately 150 child victims, ages 17 and under, are seen at the CAC each year. In 2017, the CAC was informed of a $2K budget cut that was to be used to purchase books to help child victims and their families to deal with the trauma that they were experiencing. During "Child Abuse Prevention" month in April, 2017, Royal Auto Group donated $1,889 to the Child Advocacy Center for our use in purchasing these books...THANK YOU!!
