Whether they live in our homes or in the wild, Subaru is committed to keeping all animals safe and healthy.

A partner since 2008, Subaru has donated over $28 million to the ASPCA and through Subaru Loves Pets has helped support the rescue, transport, adoption and well-being of over 230,000 animals across the country.

Loving the environment means more than loving the great outdoors. It means working to preserve it.

Since 2018, Subaru has partnered with TerraCycle.  Participating Subaru retailers collect hard-to-recycle trash that was headed to local landfills. We collect approximately 2 tons of this hard-to-recycle trash monthly, which will be converted to furnishings and other usable items and donated locally.

It’s our goal to make the pursuit of knowledge available to as many minds as possible.

Since 2015 Subaru, in partnership with the American Association for the Advancement Science, donated over 277,600 award-winning science books.  In addition, through our partnerships with Staples and we supported teachers and students with donations of S400,000 in gift cards and school supplies.

In a perfect world, hunger would be history and hope would be commonplace. We believe a perfect world is possible.

In 2020, Subaru and its retailers made a donation to Feeding America to provide 50 million meals to help feed people in need during the COVID-19 crisis,* making meals available at 199 local food banks across the country.
*$1 helps provide at least 10 meals secured by Feeding America on behalf of local member food banks.

We should all have a chance to lead a healthy life. We’re aiming to give as many people that chance as we can.

Since 2016, Subaru and its retailers have partnered with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) to donate over 167,000 blankets and 21,500 arts & crafts kits and reached nearly 150,000 patients in more than 780 hospitals nationwide.

Love Promise Stories from Royal Subaru

Royal Subaru supports hometown charity  –  Julia C

Joe Reagan and Royal Subaru have been strong supporters of the Cortland County Area Agency on Aging Nutrition Program for many years. Last winter Royal Subaru donated two new Subaru's for the delivery of holiday meals to our home delivered meal clients. The Share The Love Event partnership with Royal Subaru has raised awareness and funding for our program. The Cortland County Area Agency on Aging Nutrition Program is so thankful to be chosen as hometown charity by Royal Subaru. Thank you Royal Subaru for supporting our program and community.

SPCA of Tompkins County thanks Royal Subaru  –  Lynne C

Out of the clear blue sky we got an email from Jerome Bushey of Royal Subaru in neighboring Cortland, NY. Royal Subaru wanted to do a donation drive for much-needed supplies to help the SPCA! Wow! What a tremendous gift! And provide adoption kits of collars, leashes and toys for adopters! Double wow! When we receive donations of paper towels, toilet paper, disinfecting wipes, squeeze cheese, pill pockets, laundry detergent, bleach, hand sanitizer, canned kitten and cat food and so on we are over the moon with happiness. What we get donated we don't have to purchase, so that means more money to spend on medical care for our animalsa healthy chunk of our operating budget. The SPCA of Tompkins County houses close to 1,800 animals yearly and through our low-cost spay and neuter clinics which covers 16 counties in the southern tier and central New York, we help an additional 1,900 animals. That is almost 4,000 animals that need care and support through our efforts. We thank Royal Subaru for helping our shelter, and for the customers of Royal Subaru for being so generous to us by purchasing these items on our wish list. On behalf of the cats, dogs, bunnies, guinea pigs, and the occasional cockatoo, we thank you from the bottom of our heart. Your friends at the SPCA of Tompkins County

Cortland County Child Advocacy Center  –  Kris B

The Cortland County Child Advocacy Center (CAC) is a safe, comfortable, child-friendly setting that allows Law Enforcement and Child Protective Services to come together to talk to child victims and their non-offending family members. Approximately 150 child victims, ages 17 and under, are seen at the CAC each year. In 2017, the CAC was informed of a $2K budget cut that was to be used to purchase books to help child victims and their families to deal with the trauma that they were experiencing. During "Child Abuse Prevention" month in April, 2017, Royal Auto Group donated $1,889 to the Child Advocacy Center for our use in purchasing these books...THANK YOU!!
